instigator and facilitator of a broad range of
research related to public health and the policies
that address it. It was created as a joint venture
in 1998 among Duke's College of Arts and Sciences,
the Law School, and the Fuqua School of Business.
Faculty members collaborate with research colleagues
across schools and disciplines and teach many
of the university's course offerings in health

Institute for Politics and Public Affairs |
Organized
as a public service unit of the Department
of Political Science at Elon University.
Through its three centers, the institute
endeavors to eliminate the disconnect between
the academic realm and the "real world" of
the citizens, policy makers, administrators,
activists and civic leaders. The institute
seeks to facilitate informed decision-making
on issues affecting the public interest and
to strengthen civic leadership. |
