West Regional Partnership |
The
western region’s population and employment
grew more slowly than the state totals in
recent years and the region's average real
wage fell by 0.5 percent from 1992 to 1994,
compared to a decline of 0.2 percent for
the entire state. Both the business failure
rate and the business startup rate are slightly
below the state average. Per capita income
and average wages are about 90 percent of
the state average. The unemployment rate
and the poverty rate are higher than the
state average. |

Regional Partnership |
A
nonprofit, private/public organization dedicated
to the planned growth and prosperity of the Charlotte
region. Roughly the size of the state of Massachusetts,
the region includes 16 counties - 12 in North
Carolina and 4 in South Carolina. Together we
are Charlotte USA. |
| Eastern
Regional Partnership |
North
Carolina's Eastern Region is a multi-county partnership
established by the North Carolina General Assembly
to promote economic development in a 13-county
area of eastern North Carolina. It encompasses
nearly 7,000 square miles and over 900,000 residents. |
| Northeast
Regional Partnership |
North
Carolina's Northeast Partnership, Inc. promotes
economic development and travel and tourism for
sixteen northeastern North Carolina Counties.
The Partnership provides no cost, confidential
assistance to companies considering relocation
or expansion in the region. Our organization also
supports efforts to increase visitor awareness
of the many natural, historical, cultural and
recreational opportunities that abound in North
Carolina's Northeast. |

Triad Regional Partnership |
The
Piedmont Triad Partnership is devoted to marketing
the 12 counties of the Piedmont Triad for business
expansions and relocations. This site provides
information on the business and labor climate,
as well as a searchable database of available
sites and buildings in the region. |

Triangle Regional Partnership |
The
Research Triangle Regional Partnership (RTRP)
is a public-private partnership of economic developments
agencies that works collaboratively with the N.C.
Department of Commerce to market the 13-county
Research Triangle Region of North Carolina for
the economic benefit of its communities. |

Regional Partnership |
A
vibrant public-private partnership offering a
single point of contact for businesses looking
to expand, or relocate into any of the 11-counties
that make up southeastern North Carolina. Confidential
site selection services and facilitation of a
relationship between your company and the network
of community-based economic development professionals,
private sector and state and local government
professionals that support a company facility
